- Q: How do I create an online account?
- A: Before registering for any programs or activities online, you must create an account and receive a Login Name and Password. If you have already taken a class, registered for a Rec Pass, booked a pavilion, or registered for anything with the Wylie Parks and Recreation Department, click "Forgot password / login name" to reset. If you are registering for the first time, click on the "Create an Account" link.
If you are registering a child for a program, please use your own information not the information of the child. Once you have established an account, you will have the opportunity to add family members.
You will receive an email to activate your account. Your account will be activated only after you have responded by clicking on the link provided in the email. If you do not see the confirmation email in your inbox, check your mail box spam folder.
- Q: How do I register online for an activity?
- A: To search for specific activities, type the activity name in the "Search by keyword Or by number" field and then click "Search".
Select the activity that you would like to enroll in. Clicking the underlined activity name will show you a detailed description.
Click the "Enroll Now" button if you wish to register for the activity.
Sign in to your account by entering your login information and password.
You will be taken to the Enroll Activity Form, where you will select the participant from the drop down menu, and answer how you heard about the activity, then click "Add to cart".
If more than one family member will be attending the activity, click "Register Another Participant".
Confirm your details and type your initials in the designated box to agree to the activity waiver. Click "Check Out".
Enter payment information and click "Pay". Visa, Mastercard, Amex, and Discover are accepted.
The name and address must match those that are on file with your credit company. If the address shown is not your credit card billing address, click on the "My Account" button and change your residential address to match your credit card billing address.
After submitting payment, an offer for Active Advantage will appear. This offer is not associated with the City of Wylie nor Wylie Parks and Recreation. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click "No Thanks".
Once your payment has been approved, your receipt will be displayed. You may print a copy the receipt for your records.
- Q: How many accounts should each family have?
- A: Each household should establish one account. Create the account in the name of a head of household and then add all family member names to the account after it is established (see next question).
- Q: How do I add family members to My Account?
- A: You may add family members during the enrollment process.
Select "Enroll Now" on an activity, you are then directed to the Enroll Activity Form. Under "Who are you enrolling?" select "+Add New Family Member" from the drop down box. Enter family members details and click "Submit".
- Q: Can I view activities without registering?
- A: Browse activities without registering, by clicking on the "Activities" button.
- Q: What do I do if I forgot my password?
- A: From the Sign in page, enter your Login name. Then select the "Forgot your Password/ Login Name?" button, enter your email address, and then click "Request reset password". An email will be sent with a link and instructions to reset your password.
If you forgot the email address associated with your online account, please contact Wylie Recreation Center staff during normal business hours at 972-516-6340 for assistance. Please do not create another account.
- Q: What will happen if I try to register for an activity that is fully enrolled?
- A: You may place your name on a waiting list by clicking “+ Waiting List” on the activity detail page. In the event that a space in that activity opens up or additional classes are added, you will be contacted immediately. If we are unable to contact you, your space will be given to the next customer on the waitlist.
- Q: Can I view my transaction history and print out my past receipts online?
- A: You may place your name on a waiting list by clicking “+ Waiting List” on the activity detail page. In the event that a space in that activity opens up or additional classes are added, you will be contacted immediately. If we are unable to contact you, your space will be given to the next customer on the waitlist.
- Q: How can I view a schedule of my family's upcoming scheduled activities?
- A: The "My Account" feature allows you to view a weekly schedule of your family's upcoming scheduled activities. Log in, click on the "My Account" button, and then click on "View Family Members Schedule". Select the family members whose schedules you would like to view and click "View Schedule". A weekly schedule will display all of the activities your family members have been enrolled in and allow you to click on the activity for more information.
- Q: How do I sign up for a Rec Pass online?
- A: From the start page, click on the Rec Passes button option located in the middle of the page.
Click the blue “Add to Cart” button next to the pass you would like to sign up for. If you have not signed in to your account yet or need to create an account, you will be prompted to do so now.
Select the number of enrollment periods you would like to pay for. Click the green “Add to my Cart” button at the bottom of the page.
Select the participant from the drop down box. To continue, click the gray “Continue” button. If you do not see the name you are looking for, click the gray “My Account” button to add or modify participants to your family.
Review your shopping cart selections and click the blue “Check Out” button. If you have not completed a SNAP Waiver, you will be prompted to initial before continuing to the payment page.
Enter your payment information and click the blue “Pay” button to complete the transaction.
Show your receipt with the barcode and a valid Driver’s License to front desk staff to obtain your Rec Pass ID card.
- Q: How do I renew my Rec Pass online?
- A: Sign in to your account.
Click on the Rec Passes button option located on the orange menu bar.
At the top of the page, you will see your current Rec Pass. To renew, click the blue “Renew” button.
Select the number of enrollment periods you would like to pay for. Click the green “Add to my Cart” button at the bottom of the page.
Click the gray “Continue” button to confirm the participant.
Review the membership details and click the gray “Continue” button.
Review your shopping cart selections and click the blue “Check Out” button.
Enter your payment information and click the blue “Pay” button to complete the transaction.
- Q: How do I get the Wylie resident discount when purchasing a Rec Pass online?
- A: The Wylie resident discount is automatically populated when a Rec Pass is added to the cart.

- Q: Can I set up my Rec Pass to automatically renew monthly?
- A: Yes. All 1 Month passes can be set up for automatic renewal with a valid credit card. Select Auto Renew - Adult 1 Month, Auto Renew - Family 1 Month, Auto-Renew - Teen 1 Month, or Auto Renew - Kid 1 Month from the Rec Pass page and follow the steps to complete registration.
- Q: Can I pay for more than one month or more than one annual pass at a time?
- A: Yes. You can prepay for multiple 1 Month or Annual Passes by selecting more than one period from the choices on the Rec Pass Sale page. Each period will automatically adjust the payment amount depending on the number of months/years you are signing up for.
- Q: What is the difference between a Kid Pass and a Teen Pass?
- A: Kid Passes are for anyone ages 7 - 11 years of age. Teen Passes are available for anyone 12 - 17 years of age. A Teen Pass includes the same standard access as a Kid Pass, as well as access to the indoor walking track and fitness equipment. Guests 12 - 15 must be accompanied by an Adult Pass holder when visiting the fitness areas.
- Q: I want to purchase an annual pass, but my child turns 12 in 6-months. Does the price of the pass change on their birthday?
- A: No. The price of the Annual Pass is locked in for that year. When renewing the pass, your child will be moved into the Teen Pass.
- Q: What is a Summer Rec Pass?
- A: Summer Rec Passes are available for kids and teens ages 7 - 17 years of age and are valid from the first day of Wylie Recreation Summer Camps through the Friday after Summer Camps end.
Explanation of the Validity Period: This pass grants access to Wylie Rec Center amenities starting May 30. Prior to May 30, the pass grants access to discounts on camp and class registration transactions made between March 1 and August 11.
- Q: When can my child begin using their Summer Rec Pass?
- A: Summer Rec Passes are valid from the first day of Wylie Recreation Summer Camps through the Friday after Summer Camps end.
- Q: What is the difference between a Kid Summer Rec Pass and Teen Summer Rec Pass?
- A: Kid Summer Rec Passes are for anyone ages 7 - 11 years of age. Teen Summer Rec Passes are available for anyone 12 - 17 years of age. A Teen Summer Rec Pass* includes the same standard access as a Kid Summer Rec Pass, plus access to the indoor walking track and fitness equipment. *Access for ages 12 - 15 years only with an adult age 18 years or older.
- Q: How much does a Summer Rec Pass cost?
- A: Kid, Ages 7 - 11, Summer Rec Pass - $50 / Wylie Resident $40

- Q: Does a Summer Rec Pass qualify for a Rec Pass Discount when registering for activities?
- A: Yes! Purchasing a Summer Rec Pass unlocks access to Rec Pass Discounts on most activities.
- Q: If my child currently has a Rec Pass, do I need a Summer Rec Pass as well?
- A: No. All Family, Teen, Kid, and Jr Passes have the same standard access to Wylie Recreation Center including Exclusive Offers.
