Answers to FAQs For Online Registration Customers

Q: How do I establish an on-line account?
A: Before making a payment or registering on-line, you must establish an online registration account and receive a Customer ID and Password.

This is how you create an online account:

1) Click on the "My Account" button.

2) Fill out the form for New Account Request completely, including birth date and click submit. Please submit your request only once.

3) You will automatically receive an email after submitting your request for an account. Your account will be activated only after you have responded by clicking on the link provided in the email.

4) If you are already a current family with activities at Hochstein and didn't receive log-in information from the School when you registered, please contact us at (585)454-4596 or e-mail us at gary.palmer@hochstein.org so that we may link the on-line account that you just created to the information already in our system. We will need your customer name and e-mail address to complete the process. See related question #2.
Q: I created my on-line account, but I don't see any of my family's information or activity. Am I missing something?
A: No, you didn't do anything wrong! If you didn't already receive log-in ID and password from Hochstein at the beginning of the term, it means that we didn't originally have your e-mail address, so the on-line system doesn't yet recognize you. Please contact us at 585-454-4596, or e-mail us at gary.palmer@hochstein.org, to confirm your e-mail address and let us know you set up on-line. Then, we will make sure your account gets connected. All we need is your name and your e-mail address. Please allow 2-3 business days for this to occur.
Q: Can I register on-line for an activity?
A: On-Line registration is currently available for new classes for 2018-2019. FYI, some ensembles and camps that require either an audition (e.g. Jazz Ensemble) or approval by the director or verification of a prerequisite level(e.g. Youth Wind Symphony, Percussion Ensemble) are not available for registration on-line. Please call the main Hochstein number, (585) 454-4596, for more information. You may download a registration form on our website, www.hochstein.org, and submit by mail.
Q: How many accounts should each family have?
A: We recommend that each family establish one account. Create the account in the name of a head of household and then add all family member names to the account after it is established (see next question).
Q: How do I add family members to My Account?
A: You may add family members in the two following locations:

1) You may add a family members under "My Account", this is done by clicking the link "Change information about family members/friends".

2) You may also add family members during the enrollment process. This is done by clicking on the link "Add family member/friends" which is located beside the participant box.
Q: What do I do if I forgot my password?
A: Click on the My Account button and then enter your Log-in name. Then check the "Forgot your Password" box and click "Continue". You will advance to the custom security question you created when establishing your account. If, after reviewing your custom security question you do not recall your password, or if your password is not valid, please contact our office during normal business hours and a member of our staff will assist you.

Q: Can I view my transaction history and print out my past receipts online?
A: Yes, from the date on which your online account is established. The "My Account" feature allows you to view a detailed list of your past transactions. Just log in, click the "My Account" button, and select the program(s) providing transaction history.
Q: How can I view a schedule of my family's upcoming scheduled activities?
A: The "My Account" feature allows you to view a weekly schedule of your family's upcoming scheduled activities. Just log in, click on the "My Account" button, and then click on "Show Your Daily Schedule". Select the family members whose schedules you would like to view and click "Search". A weekly schedule will display all of the activities your family members have been enrolled in and allow you to click on the activity for more information.
