Description: Become a Junior Lifeguard in this class offered by the City of Yucaipa Aquatics Department. Youth ages 11-14 will learn lifesaving skills such as in-water rescues, use of a rescue tube, and first aid, CPR and AED. This program is designed to prepare youth for a future career as an American Red Cross Lifeguard. Participants must be able to know how to swim and pass a brief swim test at the start of the first class meeting.

*A $40.00 fee for CPR/FIRST AID/AED certification is included in the course fee to cover the Red Cross certificate fee.

No class on July 4, make-up on July 8.

Participants should bring a swim suit, towel, tennis shoes, workout clothes, and plenty of water.
