Description: 


Basketball is our game--we created it! So where better to learn it than at the YMCA? We offer a four-week clinic for ages 7-14. This outdoor clinic is designed to develop fundamental basketball skills while learning teamwork, strategy, and sportsmanship. Children will learn basketball rules, shooting, passing, and ball handling. They will also learn offensive and defensive skills like rebounding and triple threat.


Dates and Times: January 18th-February 11th

  • Ages 7-10: Mondays/Wednesdays 5:00-6:00pm
  • Ages 11-14: Mondays/Wednesdays 5:00-6:00pm

Location: Greater Palm Harbor YMCA Basketball Court

Fee: $75 for full members and $125 for basic members

What do I need: Participants must have a good pair of close toed shoes, athletic clothing, a basketball, and a water bottle

Safety Procedures:

  • Temperature checks before session
  • Proper social distancing techniques - 6 feet apart at all times
  • Equipment will be sanitized before and after each session
  • Limit of 15 people per session
