SUMMER BRIDGE BEFORE AND AFTER CARE & SUMMER BRIDGE DAY CAMP

^^^^^^^^IMPORTANT INFORMATION! YOU MUST BE ENROLLED THROUGH PINELLAS COUNTY SCHOOLS FOR SUMMER BRIDGE AT BELCHER ELEMENTARY PRIOR TO ENROLLING FOR THE YMCA SUMMER BRIDGE CARE AT THE SAME SITE. Please visit https://www.pcsb.org/Page/4036 to enroll with Pinellas County Schools FIRST, then return to complete your YMCA Summer Bridge Before & After Care/Day Camp registration.^^^^^^^^

The Summer Bridge Program, through Pinellas County Schools, helps children bridge their learning from one grade to the next. The YMCA of the Suncoast offers before and after care at Summer Bridge sites throughout Pinellas County that is available to families enrolled in the Summer Bridge program. REGISTER EARLY as there are LIMITED SPOTS available at each site.

FEES
SUMMER BRIDGE BEFORE AND AFTER CARE: $90 weekly
Families who do not qualify for the JWB funded program spaces may participate in Summer Bridge before and after care for $90/week.

FAMILIES ELIGIBLE FOR JWB FUNDING: FREE
This program is FREE for ELIGIBLE participants. Pinellas County Schools has partnered with the Juvenile Welfare Board (JWB) to provide FREE before and after care for a limited number of students who meet the eligibility requirements.

******The following REQUIREMENTS must be met:******
-Eligible for free or reduced lunch
-Invited to attend Summer Bridge program (must provide copy of student's letter of invite)


****SUMMER BRIDGE DAY CAMP****

During the weeks the Summer Bridge Program is not in session, the YMCA of the Suncoast offers Day Camp at the Summer Bridge sites. During Day Camp, participants will participate in traditional day camp activities at their Summer Bridge site.

SUMMER BRIDGE BEFORE AND AFTER CARE: $110 weekly
Families who do not qualify for the JWB funded spaces may participate in Summer Bridge Day Camp for $110/week. These families may also attend any other YMCA camp location at regular camp fee.

FAMILIES ELIGIBLE FOR JWB FUNDING: FREE
Participants who are eligible for the JWB Funded Summer Bridge spots, are able to attend Day Camp AT THE SAME LOCATION AS THEIR SUMMER BRIDGE PROGRAM at no additional cost.

****IMPORTANT NEXT STEPS****
-Enroll in the Summer Bridge program through Pinellas County Schools website.
PLEASE NOTE: Children MUST BE ENROLLED THROUGH PINELLAS COUNTY SCHOOLS FIRST.
-Enroll in the corresponding YMCA Summer Bridge Before and After Care and Summer Bridge Day Camp. Provide all requested documentation
-The YMCA will review submitted information to determine if your child is eligible for one of the limited free spots. If your child is eligible for a free spot, your account will be adjusted to reflect the zero fee, and you will receive an email notification of the change. If your child is not eligible for, or you have registered after all free spots have been allotted, you will be responsible for a weekly fee.


IMPORTANT INFORMATION IF YOUR CHILD RECEIVES ELC FUNDING-
If your child receives Early Learning Coalition (ELC) funding, they must still pay their FULL DAILY FEES during summer in order to retain their eligibility. If a child receiving ELC funding is eligible for and chooses to attend Summer Bridge for free with JWB funding, they will LOSE THEIR ELC FUNDING and will be placed on a wait list for the next school year.
