Description-For Summer School Children - second half of the day-

At the YMCA, we instill an STEAM-based education by mixing, stirring, building, and combining different elements to explore intricate projects and outcomes. Focused on science, technology, engineering, arts and math, this camp will ignite kids' curiosity and help them practice patience as they create their scientific experiments. We will go from the scientific method to social-emotional learning, from identifying and learning emotions to practicing and teaching positive behaviors. Our goal is to help kids understand their thoughts and emotions through the creative process that a STEAM education offers.
