areas of the entire United States, Malheur in spring boasts huge numbers
and varieties of birds. An oasis in the high desert region of the Pacific Flyway,
Malheur is a magnet for hungry and migration-weary birds of all forms. A visit
to Malheur has been the stimulus for untold numbers of people to become life-long
birders. Lodgings are two nights at the Malheur Field Station located adjacent
to the refuge. For beginning to intermediate birders; includes walking. All
meals except for day one lunch are included.
Registrants will be notified of a pre-trip meeting date in May which includes packing information, what you can expect, meal selections and some instruction.
