Must have completed kindergarten. Program will meet at the pavilion adjacent to tennis courts of Roof Park.
Parents need to send water (plenty) only with their child each day in a bottle with their name clearly marked on it.
Drop-off/Pick-up Process:
Drop-off: Park in the parking lot and sign-in your child each day at the pavilion starting at 9 am.
Pick-up: Park in the parking lot and come to the pavilion to pick up your child starting at 11:55 am.
Rain Policy: Summer Blast will be held in light rain. In case of heavy rain, the program may be canceled. You may call the Rec Commission office after 8:30 am on questionable days. If the program is canceled due to weather the following applies:
1 day of canceled program – no credit given
2-4 days canceled in one week – a West Shore Rec credit will be given in the appropriate amount that can be used toward any recreation program offered. No credit will be given to individuals who choose not to send their children when the location is open.
Program Refunds: Refund requests for weekly registrations will be granted in accordance with our normal refund policy. However, refunds for the “All 7 Weeks” will only be granted until June 21 which is the end of week 1
Register in advance: no later than the Thursday before the desired week
Program Cancellation: West Shore Rec will make every attempt to conduct the activity, but reserves the right to cancel any week due to insufficient enrollment. The minimum number of participants is 15
