New York City Overnight

Celebrate summer and honor America with an overnight stay in New York City and the opportunity to witness the iconic Macy's 4th of July Fireworks (weather permitting). After a fast-food stop at your expense along the way, you arrive in New York City for some free time to explore mid-town Manhattan and have lunch on your own prior to a late afternoon check-in at the Hotel Riu Plaza New York Times Square (646-864-1100) for one night. Guest room amenities include a mini-refrigerator, flat-screen TV and Wi-Fi. The hotel features on-site dining options, a 24-hour fitness room and is centrally located in the Times Square area surrounded by theatres, restaurants and a short walk, taxi ride or subway ride from NYC's numerous attractions. (**PLEASE NOTE: Passengers are responsible to carry their own luggage to and from their hotel room.) The remainder of the night is yours to enjoy as much or as little as you desire, that is the beauty of this trip…you are on your own to explore and what you can't accomplish today, there's always tomorrow. Dinner is on your own and at your expense. Hopefully you have saved some energy for tonight's fireworks spectacular (start time of the fireworks will be announced when the information is released by Macy's in 2025). Enjoy the 48th annual Macy's 4th of July Fireworks and witness the nation's largest fireworks display light up the night sky and the iconic New York City skyline. The fireworks display is scheduled to be launched from barges on the Hudson River between West 14th and West 34th Streets. There is no reserved seating, and the view is up to you. If the fireworks display is cancelled due to inclement weather, Wolf's Bus Lines will not reschedule the trip.

Breakfast is included at the hotel with the remainder of the day to enjoy the city at your leisure. The Riu Plaza is located in the heart of Manhattan and surrounded by iconic sites such as Central Park, Rockefeller Center, the Empire State Building, the Broadway District, and don't forget shopping on Fifth Avenue. Catch a cab or hop the subway to Lower Manhattan to visit the 9/11 Museum & Memorial, the Statue of Liberty or witness a spectacular view from the top of the One World Observatory. It's New York City, all this and so much more…the possibilities are endless! Lunch and dinner are on your own and at your expense prior to your departure for home. You are asked to return to Hotel Riu by 6:00 p.m. to board the motorcoach and depart for home by 6:30 p.m. You will make a short rest stop before returning to your drop-off location. B
