Description
Do you have a DSLR camera and aren't sure how to use it? Are you still taking photos using only the AUTOMATIC mode? If you answered yes, then this is the perfect class for you! Each class will begin with an exploration of a new topic followed by some hands on application of the technique or idea. Weekly assignments will also be given to reinforce what has been learned in class. Learn the history of photography and cameras, the science behind a DSLR, about photography influences, lenses exposure triangle - aperture, shutter speed and ISO, composition techniques, and much, much more. Please read carefully to make sure you are comfortable with the program structure prior to enrolling.
•At your first in-person class, each participant will be required to sign a waiver that includes language regarding COVID. Due to the length of this waiver, we are making the document available on our website http://www.wsrec.org/information. You might want to consider bringing your own pen to sign the waiver.
•Facemasks are optional.
•We will not ask customers about their vaccination status
•We are asking staff and participants to perform self-health checks before attending the program and if there is a health concern to stay home that day.
•The program may utilize equipment that will be shared by participants.
•We recommend that you bring your own hand sanitizer if desired.
