Description:
Join us as we pick late-season bounty, such as organic vegetables and herbs from our gardens, and then learn how to cook with the flavors of the early fall. Recipes will include favorites like Homemade Herb Pasta with Burst Cherry Tomato Sauce, Refrigerator Pickles and Pickled Veggies, Tomato Pie, and Chocolate-Zucchini Cupcakes. While learning new recipes and having fun, we will develop lifelong culinary skills, including knife-handling and using a variety of kitchen appliances and gadgets. We will leave the 8-week session feeling more seasonally aware and more confident in the kitchen. And, of course, eating what we cook is always part of the fun!
