Description: Explore ways to document your observations in nature using writing prompts and drawing skills—you do NOT have to be an artist! Learn about the local flora and fauna with naturalist and Colorado Native Plant Master® Mary Menz. Bring a camera, notebook, pens, pencils, colored pencils, and an eraser. You’ll leave the session with increased confidence and loads of materials and resources. Fee includes a copy of Common Wildflowers of the San Juan Mountains. Bring a snack, something to sit on (a garden pad or trash bag), plenty of water; and dress for the weather. Eight registrants maximum. Directions to meet up site provided the week prior to the event.
