Description
Golf-specific
training can help improve power, flexibility, and strength, translating to
improved play on the course. Professional golfers and amateur enthusiasts alike
want to avoid injuries and improve their game. Fortunately, both goals are
inherently linked: Staying injury-free enables golfers to train at a high level
and to practice and compete regularly, which ultimately lets them hone their
skills and elevate their performance. From a
biomechanical perspective, the golf swing is a complex and unnatural movement
that works the whole body—but not in symmetrical patterning. Addressing
physical limitations through a series of strength, stability, and flexibility
exercises (particularly through the core) can help create symmetry and
coordination, improve muscular endurance, and increase range of motion. We'll help
you get fit for golf, stay fit for golf, and play golf longer!
