2025 Academy Park Commuinty Garden Registration

Love the art of gardening or are looking to start a new hobby?

Williamson County Parks and Recreation oversees this lovely little community garden of 41 garden plots. Each plot is assigned to an individual and is first come first serve. Registration begins in January of each year and the growing season ends mid-November. Our beautiful Community Garden is located at 120 Everbright Ave. right across from Academy Park Gymnasium.

• All patrons who sign up for a garden bed via registration are accepting responsibility for taking care of their garden plot as well as the helping with the area around the garden plot.
• Garden plots are first come first serve, patrons can not be guaranteed to receive a plot or the exact plot they would like.
• WCPR is not responsible for any flowers, fruits, or vegetables that are taken from the garden.
• Priority registration will open for patrons who already have a garden bed first and then registration will be open to the public one week later and will be reserved on a first come first serve basis.
• This is not a strictly organic only garden, you are welcome to use products of organic matter or non-organic matter to keep pests out of your garden bed.
• Since there is no fee to have a garden bed, all patrons are required to supply their own plants, soil, and any other items they feel necessary to manage a plot. Our shed does offer some tools for patrons to use.
• If a patron would like their soil tested they are responsible for setting up and paying for that service.
