Description
Middle and high school students will enjoy a deep-dive into jazz improvisation, music theory, music production, and history while receiving small group instruction in a jazz combo or a group jazz piano class. Classes include small group combo playing, improvisation and music theory, electronic music production and recording, group piano class, Brazilian samba percussion ensemble, and more!
For students entering grades 6-12 in Fall 2025. Graduating seniors are welcome and encouraged to register!
Students are required to have 1-2 years of experience in their chosen instrument as well as have note reading experience. Students will need to bring their instruments and any necessary accessories, pencil, a water bottle, lunch/snacks that may be needed, and sunscreen.
