Moms and tots come play and learn as we see how much fun it is to be a toddler! We will have lots of exploring time plus an art project and end the day with a story. An adult must accompany each child. No siblings are allowed.
Biography:Elyse Ferdinand is one of our main teachers for our Early Childhood Education classes at The Community House. Elyse has her background and Education in Early Childhood from Northern Il University. Elyse has been teaching at the Community House for 22 years. Prior to that she was the director and taught at Adler School in Chicago. Elyse enjoys every aspect of teaching children and realizes they teach us as much as we teach them. Elyse feels good everyday enriching their learning in class through play, imagination and of course (her favorite) artwork so happy when she sees how proud they are of their projects. Elyse loves the friendships she has developed over the years with families because that?s what the Community House is all about.
