Description

In this class, we will explore the use of oil pastels as a medium of both drawing and more painterly techniques. Layering color, creating transparency, and a variety of mark marking techniques will be used to develop texture and the illusion of depth for either representational or non-representational work. For those interested in working from sketches or photographs, Nicole will discuss methods for creating representative forms.
