Description: Enjoy the glories of nature while learning to paint efficiently outdoors. The instructor will show the importance of having a plan when plein-air painting. Students will learn how to choose prime painting locations and improve plein air painting techniques. Instruction will be given through a combination of demos, lectures and painting your own masterpieces.
Biography:Randall Graham is an artist and teacher based in Chester County. He studied at University of Delaware and Carlin Academy of Fine Art. Randall's art work consists of his popular 'rain paintings' which depict rain drops on his car windshield that abstract the scene he is depicting. He also paints outdoors and has won many awards at plein air painting competitions including First Place in Brandywine Valley Plein Air, Malvern Plein Air and Best Pennsylvania Artist at Bucks County Plein Air. Often he will add cold wax medium and other materials to add texture and abstractions to his work. Randall has had many solo exhibitions and shown in group exhibitions and museum nationwide. Recently he curated the inspirational "Trust the Process Exhibition" for Gallery 222 in Malvern. He loves teaching at the Wayne Art Center because it is full talented students, fantastic instructors and passionate staff.
