Biography:John Wilson was born and raised in Fredonia, KS and earned a BFA in Ceramics from Emporia State University. He has taught high school Art and Design, Ceramics and Computer Graphics for the past 18 years. In 2008 he made the decision to pursue my life long dream of becoming a full time studio potter. John has always been passionate about teaching, so making the transition to studio potter on a full-time basis continually allows him to teach and share his expertise directly with his students. Mr. Wilson draws his inspiration from Greek antiquity and his Mexican heritage. He joined the Wayne Art Center in --- currently teaching wheel thrown ceramics.
