Get more insight into mixing color in skin tones by working from live models and focusing on the face. Find out how to use a palette of colors for mixing those elusive skin tones, and how to see and mix color as a value, as a warm or cool, and as transparent or opaque. All of this is important to convey accurate, beautiful, and luminous flesh tones and to create a sense of form with your subject. Largely targeted for oil painting but contact instructor for a custom materials list if you are working in pastel or watercolor.
