Challenge and improve your balance with basic moves of ballroom dance! A different dance will be introduced each week. Dances include Tango, Swing, Rumba, Waltz, Line Dancing and Fox Trot. This class is ideal for all participants (those who have a fear of falls, those who want to improve balance/safety mobility or those who feel that have good balance but simply want to learn to dance and learn preventative balance skills through dance movement).
No experience or partner needed! Dances will be taught in line formation with options to dance with a partner.
Note: Please bring a 1" three ring binder to class and wear shoes that don't easily slip off your feet.
