Challenge and improve your balance with basic moves of ballroom dance! A different dance will be introduced each week. Dances include Tango, Swing, Rumba, Waltz, Line Dancing and Fox Trot. This class is ideal for all participants (those who have a fear of falls, those who want to improve balance/safety mobility or those who feel that have good balance but simply want to learn to dance and learn preventative balance skills through dance movement). On 2/13 and 3/19, participants will complete pre and post balance testing after class.
No experience or partner needed! Dances will be taught in line formation with options to dance with a partner.
