Description: This class is for anyone, from beginning to advanced, ages 6 and up. Private acoustic guitar lessons for all levels are offered through the Wauconda Park District. Each session includes eight, 30-minute private guitar lessons. Topics include, but are not limited to: ear trainings, sight-reading, scales and chords, composition, theory, technique, repertoire, improvisation, and finger picking. Styles covered will be folk, blues, rock, jazz and classical. You must provide your own guitar. Students will be asked to purchase a music book from a local or online music store. No class 3/23. We will accept registration at any time during the session if space allows. Classes will be held virtually via zoom. Days of the week and times are flexible.
