Explore the Mediterranean! Join Chef Taylor Johnson for an exciting culinary experience where you'll learn to make 'mezze', a meal made up of small plates, from all across the Mediterranean.

This class is part of our 2025 Global Adventures offerings for those who wish to explore the world through food! Perfect for any adventurous home cook, come explore world cuisines and celebrations. A portion of the proceeds from the Global Adventures classes will be used to provide financial assistance for community programming.

Class Highlights:
  • Hands-on Cooking: Prepare a selection of Mediterranean small plates including Pan con Tomate (Tomato Bread), Grilled Kofta Kebabs (Meat Skewers), Melitzanosalata (Eggplant Dip), Labneh (Yogurt Spread), and Maamoul (Date-Filled Cookies). Enjoy a refreshing Lemon-Mint Tea Mocktail while you cook!
  • Cultural Insights: Learn about the many cultures and cuisines that make up the Mediterranean region.
  • Tasting Session: Enjoy the delicious dishes you've created with fellow participants.
  • Recipe Handouts: Take home handouts with all the recipes and tips from the class.
