Description
Join dietitian experts from the University of Wisconsin Waisman Center for a PKU educational program. Program includes an interactive cooking component, as well as a presentation and hands on demonstration from UW Extension on container gardening. A low protein lunch will be prepared and served during this event.
Learning Objectives:
- Enhance your low protein food preparation skills and leave with new PKU friendly recipes.
- Learn about container gardening and how to grow your own healthy low protein foods at home.
- Connect with other individuals and families with PKU.
*Participants under the age of 18 years must come with an adult caregiver.
*Participants can bring one support person free of charge.
