Description

Join dietitian experts from the University of Wisconsin Waisman Center for a PKU educational program. Program includes an interactive cooking component, as well as a presentation and hands on demonstration from UW Extension on container gardening. A low protein lunch will be prepared and served during this event.

Learning Objectives:
  1. Enhance your low protein food preparation skills and leave with new PKU friendly recipes.
  2. Learn about container gardening and how to grow your own healthy low protein foods at home.
  3. Connect with other individuals and families with PKU.

*Participants under the age of 18 years must come with an adult caregiver.
*Participants can bring one support person free of charge.
