Moving Into Awareness - Explorations of Energy, Body, Heart and Mind

Join us for a day of tuning in to our experience, moving with awareness, and cultivating energy and wellbeing. This workshop will include a variety of movement-based meditation practices, including mindful yoga, tai chi and qigong, as well as periods of stillness, reflection and conversation. Together we will explore the opportunity for integrating mind, body and spirit through movement and mindfulness.
All are welcome! Prior experience with mindfulness, yoga, tai chi or qigong can be helpful but is not required. Movement practices will be gentle, and participants are encouraged to adapt the practices for any limitations or injuries. Movement from a seated position in a chair is also possible.
What to bring: comfortable layered clothing, yoga mat, blanket and/or cushion if desired (some supplies will be available), sack lunch and a water bottle/travel mug (water and hot tea will be available). No refunds after Monday, June 17, 2019.
