Description: Recommended for ages 3-6 with adult; kids under 6 month old attend free
Bring your young one to the nature center for creative play time with guidance and additional supplies from a nature play facilitator. Everyone is welcome regardless of ability. Weekly themes depend on current events in nature. To keep these programs relevant to the changing seasons, themes are announced the week before each program. Call 217-384-4062 for more information or follow the Anita Purves Nature Center on Facebook. Pre-registration is encouraged so we have enough supplies for everyone. Drop-ins are welcome, in which case the $5/child fee should be paid inside the nature center upon arrival.
