Description

You will be prepared for entry-level competencies in phlebotomy in preparation for employment. The didactic classes include: health care delivery, basic anatomy and physiology, specimen collection, infection control and safety, specimen transport and processing, quality control, professionalism, and laboratory testing.

Three weeks of full-time clinical in a local hospital or laboratory are also required.

Clinical will be held Monday, May 22, 2017-June 9, 2017.

This program is approved through the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS). A certificate will be issued upon completion of the program. Successful students are eligible to sit for the National Certifying Exam.

Health Forms must be submitted prior to registration.
