Description

In this introductory class students will learn about glass compatibility, firing schedules, and about cold working. Students will learn basic glass cutting skills and they will create three jewelry pieces using glass sheets, frits, and stringers. They will learn tips for success, safety in the studio, and much more. Projects will be fired after each session and will be available for pick up on the consecutive session. Instructor will provide access to all glass cutting tools for students to use and share. A $20 Supply fee due to instructor in cash on first day of class. Fee includes sheet glass, accessory glass, jewelry findings and all kiln firings. Student must bring their own safety glasses to each class.
