Description: Description: The Telluride Parks & Recreation Department is pleased to offer scheduled Open Gym Sports for all skill levels: Volleyball games utilize rally scoring, first to 25, and are self-officiated. To maximize playing time and ensure equal playing opportunity for all participants, game length, format, scoring, and team formation will be adjusted according to the number of participants in attendance. The number of participants involved in a game depends upon the number of participants in attendance. The maximum number of participants on any given night is 36. Reminders:

A pickup format is utilized in which teams are formed on a first come-first served basis or the recreation staff may form teams by random.
The time limit and format for games is dependent upon the number of participants on a given evening and is managed by the program supervisor to allow all participants an equal opportunity to play.
Please do not arrive more than 15 minutes early as youth practices are still taking place.
Participants between the ages of 15 and 18 must provide a consent note from a parent/guardian prior to participating; participants under the age of 15 are not permitted.
Non-marking indoor court shoes are required.
These are friendly, recreational, coed, adult programs designed for those just learning the game to those who have been playing a lifetime but enjoy a non-aggressive atmosphere. Players not able to control their temper or aggressive style of play are not welcome and may be removed from the program.
