Description: The City of Sunset Hills offers coed and men's recreational softball leagues. This league session will consist of 7 weeks of double headers (14 games). League champions will receive a $75 gift card to Helen Fitzgerald's restaurant. Leagues are governed by ASA umpires and rules. In addition, all teams must abide by the Sunset Hills Fair Play Policy. View our http://mo-sunsethills.civicplus.com/719/Fair-Play-Policy" Teams may make a $50 deposit to hold a slot, the credit/debit card used to make the deposit will be charged the remaining league fee after the first games. If you have trouble paying the deposit online, contact Ben Logel immediately at 314-842-726. Schedules will be sent out to team managers 2 weeks prior to the scheduled start date. League start dates may be moved pending weather. 1 rain-out week will be played per session. Additional rain-outs will be refunded to the team managers. If your team needs to forfeit a game, call the Sunset Hills Community Center at 314-842-7265 as soon as possible and 2 hours before game time to notify of the forfeit. If your team forfeits without notice or after 2 hours before game time, you will be charged a $35 "No Show Fee". Teams dropping out of the league after the scheduled start date will not be refunded. League fees include liability insurance through USA Softball, this insurance may be used at any USA Softball sanctioned league or tournament. In addition teams have the option to purchase additional accident insurance through USA Softball. Your team must turn in a roster form by the end of the first week for this insurance.
