Prepare yourself for Halloween by touring one the most haunted places in Missouri and the United States, the Lemp Mansion! The Lemp family ran a successful brewing empire in St. Louis during the mid-to-late 1800?s and early 1900?s amassing a fortune large enough to build the beautiful mansion in 1868 that still stands today in south St. Louis. Several tragic deaths in the Lemp family, many unexplained sightings, and sounds have led ghost hunters and experts to the conclusion that the mansion is haunted.
We will be having lunch inside the mansion and then receive a guided tour of the family?s history and the mansion?s haunted bedrooms and grounds. Please be aware that the tour requires some walking, maneuvering through small spaces, and stairs.
Attendees have their choice for lunch of a club sandwich and french fries or chicken salad and fresh fruit, with dessert and iced tea, coffee, and soft drinks included.
