Description

Your child is introduced to basic skills as the foundation for future skills and the development of water competency ( the basic minimum skills needed for water safety)

* Blowing bubbles for 3 seconds and submerging mouth, nose and eyes.

* Front glide and recover to a vertical position.

* Back glide and recover to a vertical position.

* Back float for 5 seconds

Notes

* If a participant is receiving scholarship dollars and fails to attend at least 50% of the classes without notifying Aquatics Staff, the participant will not be eligible for future scholarship funding.

* In the event of inclement weather such as thunder and lightning, swim lessons will be cancelled. If it is raining hard and visibility in the bottom of the pool is obstructed, swim lessons will be cancelled. The City does not offer makeup lessons or refunds for programs cancelled due to weather events.
