Description

The Little Gardeners program invites young gardeners to experience the entire journey from seed to table! Over three interactive workshops, children will experience the entire process of growing plants to make delicious homemade salsa. In addition to the growth and learning that comes from garden work, we will have lots of fun along the way, playing games, exploring, and tasting all the garden has to offer throughout the growing season. This series is a perfect introduction to gardening and cooking, where kids can explore nature and enjoy the fruits (and veggies) of their labor. Each child will also take home a garden journal and seedling to continue the fun at home!

*We will still meet in light rain but will cancel for heavy rain/thunderstorms. Rain dates will tentatively be set for the following day (Sunday) of each meeting date.
