Description
Explore what you need to know to enjoy this recreational activity along the calm waters of the Fox River. Discuss equipment recommendations, paddling strokes and techniques, launching maneuvers, potential hazards and rescue/safety strategies. Land and water practice occurs during each class. All equipment provided.

Meet at Ferson Creek Park!
What to bring/wear:
Something to drink and a light snack. Dry bag for electronics if you want to take any with you on the paddle. Shoes that can get wet as you will step in the river. Avoid cotton if possible as it retains water when wet and does not insulate. Water will drip off the paddle blade and onto your legs, torso, or hands. Sunblock, bug spray, towel, change of shoes for after the paddle! Rain jacket if forecast calls for it.
What is included in the price is the kayak, paddle, PFD, guide, instruction and a great time!
