Paddle the River!
10 a.m. – 2 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 19th 2020
Heitman’s Launch off E. Sycamore Road, Old Monroe, Mo.
Grab your paddles and vest! The St. Charles County Parks and Recreation Department and City of Old Monroe are offering this fun event on the Cuivre River. There are two races to choose from;
The Easy Rider: 2.6-mile float to the Highway 79 bridge and back
Flatwoods or Bust: 8-mile float to the bridge at Flatwoods Park and back.
Top finishers win prizes provided by Dick’s Sporting Goods, Old Monroe Lumber and other generous sponsors.
Cost is $10 per person if pre-registered; $15 on the day of the event. Cash, check and paypal.me/cityofoldmonroe is accepted.
