Description: St Charles County Parks is celebrating the opening of its 14th park with an inaugural disc golf tournament on Sunday, Sept. 23. Participants can choose a 9 a.m. shotgun start from the blue (long) tee pads or a 2:30 p.m. shotgun start from the red (short) tee pads. Anyone interested in making a day of it can participate in both rounds. Lunch is served at 1 p.m. for all participants. Cost is $15 per round and includes one commemorative disc for each round, lunch, and closest to the pin (CTP) prizes. Only online or phone pre-registration is accepted and must be made no later than midnight, Sept. 19. There is a limit of 72 participants per round. Future social media event posts at facebook.com/StCharlesCountyParks will offer participants an opportunity for card requests. Each card will be limited to four players.
