Description: Learn what’s ‘growing on’ from 10 - 11 a.m., first Friday of the month, February through November, at Veterans Tribute Park, 1031 Kisker Rd., Weldon Spring. This new interpretive program is led by our park horticulture specialists and takes place on the following dates in the park: 02/04, 03/04, 04/01, 05/06, 06/03, 07/01, 08/05, 09/02, 10/07, 11/04. Each guided walk lasts about one hour and focuses on a different aspect of nature each month. Participants will observe and discuss the cycles of budding plants, migrating birds and other naturally occurring and seasonal events that will take place at the park from year to year. The program is free and open to all ages; registration is requested. Call or visit us online to register.
