Description: Row the day away with Ranger Ashley on the beautiful 25 acres lake at the Park at New Melle Lakes. The basic concepts of safety, maneuvering and components of kayaking will be taught, then enjoy an hour on the water with a special skills session. Kayaks, life vests, and paddles will be provided. Please bring water, sun block, and water shoes. Park in the main park parking lot and walk down to the beach front area. Price is $10 per person. Children 7 and younger can ride with parent, but they must provide their own life vest. If it is raining, please check the RainoutLine for program updates. Notes:Please bring water, sun block, and water shoes. Children need to have an adult present for the duration of the program, even if the adult is not participating.
