Description: Enjoy the great outdoors while stepping into the past at Matson Hill Park. Participants will hike up to three miles along the rugged, moderately difficult Hays Trail with Ranger Angel Ray. During the hike, Ranger Ray will delve into the history of the Femme Osage Valley, the family that lived in the Hays Home on park property, and the pioneers who walked the land. This program is for adults age 18 and up and is free; pre-registration is required.
