Description: Celebrate the beginning of Fall with a leisurely two-mile hike in The Park at New Melle Lakes. The autumnal equinox is one of only two days in the year where day and night are the same length as the sun crosses the celestial equator. This hike will follow paved-surface trails and hot apple cider will be available at The Landhaus, St. Charles County Parks' newest venue. Cost is free but pre-registration is required.
