This is not your normal 1 mile & 5k. We are here to make history..HELP US SET A WORLD RECORD! "Largest Gathering of People Dressed as Astronauts." Saturday, April 14, 2018. Open to all! Record and Races will take place at the Gilruth Center, off of Space Center Blvd., Houston, TX, 77058. NEW this year is a team of 3 may enroll.Aliens vs. Astronauts


Check-in starts at 7:30am, world record rules announcements at 8:15am, record attempt at 8:30am, 1 mile and 5k race launch at 9am, awards presentation at 9:45am.


AWARDS
(to be eligible for an award, there is a 40 minute cutoff on the individual 5k and a combined 3 person team time of 120 minutes. 1 mile participants are not eligible for an award)

Top three 5k male & female finishers in each division will receive special trophies:
20 and under
21-30
31-40
41-50
51+

The top three teams (3 persons) who have the lowest combined score will receive a team trophy. A person is eligible for both and may receive an individual 5k award and a team 5k award.
