Description: Whether just finishing our Rookies program or looking to get started in the great sport of hockey, players in the Pre-Hockey class will focus on the basic fundamentals of forward and backward skating, as well as basic stops, turns and the proper use of edges. Pre-Hockey is a 45-minute class designed to build a solid foundation for each player.
Participants are encouraged to wear full hockey gear so they can get used to the feel of equipment, but the only mandatory pieces of equipment are a hockey helmet with a faceguard and a pair of gloves. If skates are needed, rental skates are included complimentary with class registration.
