An Olympic Sport, one of only five that has endured from the very first Olympics in 1896. Started as personal defense in 1800's, the benefits of its physical and intellectual discipline promote outstanding athletes and a healthy work ethic. During this session participants will learn the basic movements skills particular to fencing through a series of games developed to promote gross motor skills and basic footwork. After passing the footwork exam students will earn the privilage of being armed with steel and advance to the next level (dates and time TBA for the next level course). Instructed by Marion Ayar, USFA certified.
