Have an amazing, culturally enriching experience! Experience a Rec and Park neighborhood camp in American Sign Language (ASL). ASL Immersion Neighborhood Camp is led by staff who are native speakers or fluent in ASL, making it perfect for children who are Deaf or hard of hearing, have a parent or sibling who is Deaf or hard of hearing, or any child interested in learning ASL! Theme-based activities provide opportunities for children to make new friends, learn new skills, and explore their communities in a safe and structured setting. We offer an inclusive environment that enhances learning through non-stop fun, from arts and crafts, STEM, sports, and field trips (field trips may require additional cost). All children are welcome, but must come prepared to turn off their voices and immerse themselves in this unique cultural and linguistic experience! To drop off as early 8am and pick up by 6pm, please purchase extended care.
