Description

The process of mural-making is a crucial part of public art. This class will take you step by step in the mural making process, from the concept to design and work with the architecture and environment around the wall. The Mission district in SF has a long history of mural art, and this class will look back and analyze the importance of murals in a community and their impact on cultural identity. This program is a collaboration between SFRPD and SFAI.
