Description

Learn to create beautiful floral arrangements for everyday use, for gifts, for entertaining and for special occasions. Guided by professional florist Greg Lum, (AIFD), we’ll use silk and dried flowers to explore different styles and techniques every week. Week One, we’ll each create a tropical centerpiece, focusing on line, form, mass and texture. Week Two, we’ll use Shadow Box frames to create mini succulent designs with dried flowers. Week Three, we explore wearable flowers and learn how to create contemporary corsages and boutonnieres. Materials are included in the class fee, and will be available for pickup at the Randall Museum one week before the start of class; Shipping can be arranged for an additional fee. This is a live, virtual class taught on the Zoom platform. Students must have a stable internet connection, and must download the free Zoom application before class begins.
