Description

In this virtual workshop, students will create small woodworking projects while learning the basics of Autodesk's 3D design and modeling software, Fusion 360. We will use the software to design and 3D model small wooden projects for production, such as a box, a sign, or a surface with geometric pattern. We will then learn how to prepare our designs for cutting on the CNC router. Final products will be cut on our Shopbot CNC router by staff and packaged for pick up following Covid19 protocols. (Shipping can be arranged for an additional fee).
Everyone will need a standard 3-button mouse. This is a live virtual class taught on the Zoom platform. Students must have a stable internet connection, and must download the free Zoom application before class begins.
