The newly refurbished woodshop is pleased to once again offer Open Shop. This is an opportunity for more experienced woodworkers to pursue their own projects in our shop under moderate supervision. Instruction building upon foundational skills is available. Projects are subject to instructor approval. Wood is purchased by students; materials and project storage is limited. Prerequisite: Successful completion of two Woodworking I classes at the Randall Museum, within the last 2 years, plus instructor approval. Please note that the first two meetings of the Session will be devoted to a mandatory safety refresher course and written test. A $10 materials fee is due to the instructor on the first day of class. Students who have not met prerequisites will be withdrawn and subject to the withdraw policy.
