Description: Learn how to paint the many wonderful views in the Golden Gate Park Botanical Gardens. Our subject matter will include everything from intimate paintings of flowers and shrubs to landscape views, water reflections to winding paths. This class will focus on watercolor techniques including rich color use to depict shadows and light, mixing color on your palette and mixing color on the paper, as well as techniques such as wet into wet and wet on dry. All classes are at the SF Botanical Gardens, regardless of weather. This class is for intermediate and advanced students only. You must have strong drawing skills and be competent in watercolor painting. Students will be expected to use professional quality materials.
